One Digital event: Delivering sustainable digital skills support

The One Digital partners are coming together for an exciting one day event exploring how we can work effectively to support individuals facing digital and social exclusion.

The event will include:

– Keynote speakers from the Big Lottery Fund, Carnegie UK and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport;

– Interactive workshops that will explore good practice in working with Digital Champions – volunteers and staff;

– Insight and information exchange on why we need to invest in developing basic digital skills and how to target and evaluate digital inclusion activity;

– Networking;

– An opportunity to find out more about the One Digital partnership and how to get involved.

Whether you are involved in supporting people into work or running programmes to reduce social isolation, poverty and health inequality this is a great opportunity to learn about new and proven approaches to delivering digital skills support sustainably and at scale.

One Digital is a UK wide partnership which promotes the use of Digital Champions to support people to learn digital skills. For organisations interested in setting up their own digital inclusion project we have developed a free Knowledge Hub of useful information and resources.
