Who we are

The One Digital programme is a collaboration of five partner organisations who are delivering a Big Lottery Funded project(s). The programme is co-hosted by Age UK (registered charity number 1128267. Company number 6825798). And also by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).  SCVO is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation.  Charity registered in Scotland SC003558.  Our registered office is Mansfield Traquair Centre, 15 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh, EH3 6BB.   

One Digital has no independent legal status and its privacy and data protection policies are the responsibility of SCVO who will work in cooperation with Age UK.

All One Digital partners have their own data and privacy policies which are available on their websites. 

One Digital partners share data and information between themselves.  The One Digital policy and privacy notices indicates when and why this happens.  When data is passed to a One Digital partner it will be stored and used in accordance with their data and privacy policies. 

 

This privacy notice tells you what data we collect and what we use it for.  It covers:

What information do we collect? 

We collect a range of information from participants including (but not limited to) name, job title, organisation, address, phone number and email. 

How we use the information? 

We use your information to contact you with a regular One Digital newsletter via email (e-bulletin). 

Your information will be not be shared with other One Digital partners (Citizens Online, Clarion Futures or Digital Unite). 

We may use your information to contact you about other activities carried out by One Digital unless you ask us not to. 

We will not share your information with any other third parties unless you ask us to do so or we have asked for your consent in advance. 

Your information will also be anonymised for reporting purposes. 

Your information will be held for three years and then deleted (unless you tell us you wish to remain on our mailing list).  You will be able to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time on request.  Details of how to unsubscribe will be included in each newsletter bulletin sent out. 

Your rights over your information 

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. 

You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information.
