Happy New Year from One Digital Community of Practice

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has had a wonderful festive season and is ready and rearing to go!

Here in Edinburgh the sun is shining and we are gearing up for a very busy and exciting few months. With the launch of the shiny new One Digital website in December we in the Community of Practice have a place to share learning, resources and case studies from the fantastic One Digital projects.

Kate Gallant, Community of Practice Learning Facilitator, and I will be out and about over the next few weeks visiting partner projects across the UK to see the great digital inclusion work they are doing as part of One Digital. We will of course be blogging and tweeting about our adventures so please do keep an eye on here and follow us on Twitter.

Coming up at the end of February there is the One Digital: Delivering Sustainable Digital Skills Support event at Friends House in London. This promises to be an exciting day of presentations, interactive workshops and discussion with One Digital partners to explore how we can best work together to support those facing digital and social exclusion. This will be a great opportunity to share learning on new and proven approaches to delivering digital skills support. There are some limited places still available so please register via the Eventbrite page if you would like to attend.

One Digital is a UK wide partnership which promotes the use of Digital Champions to support people to learn digital skills. For organisations interested in setting up their own digital inclusion project we have developed a free Knowledge Hub of useful information and resources.
