Citizens Online
Citizens Online is a UK charity committed to tackling the issue of digital exclusion. They help organisations to ensure that no one is left behind as public services move online. With experience from working in over 50 localities around the UK, they are experts in their field.
Their approach to digital inclusion is called, ‘Switch‘. Switch uses detailed evidence, combined with establishing strong, local partnerships. Local partners working together makes this a sustainable approach.
Switch is match funded thanks to support from the National Lottery Community Fund via One Digital. If you are interested in improving the digital skills of people in your area then Switch may be able to help.
Current Switch projects supported through One Digital are based in:
- Brighton & Hove (long-term)
- Gwynedd, North Wales (long-term)
- Kent
- Dorset
- Surrey, and
- Epping Forest
